**New Picture Taken by Stephen Raines**   "A Herd of Impalas"
The trip to Texas from Indianapolis went much faster and easier than I anticipated.  Stephen Raines (96 BBB-Mississippi) and I left Memphis at 5am on Friday.  Before the sun had risen, Steve Yamada (95 BBB-Massachusetts) fell in behind us and followed us to Little Rock to meet Jason Bintliff "Vader" (96 BBB-Arkansas)

Steve Yamada did not join us for the return caravan, but Stephen Raines, Jason Bintliff and I left the host hotel around noon and I was home by 3am.  We cruised about 80mph and stopped in Sulpher Springs for a leisurely lunch further inspecting all the mods on our cars.  Vader's car was one of the nicest I saw all weekend.  He had a laptop with GPS running on a stand in the front seat, ram air hood, sunroof, massaging driver's seat, awesome stereo, one of the best sounding exhausts I heard all weekend and tons of other mods.  It is always fun to ride in a caravan and these guys were first class.

Thank you to all the clubs and individuals involved with putting on Impalafest 2002.  I had a great time.  It was well worth the 2000 mile round trip to attend.
